Vinyl Makes the Music Go Round

Vinyl Makes the Music Go Round

To maximize the sound of vinyl, many think that the more they spend on a turntable, the better the sound. While, in part that may be true, when it comes to turntables, you don't need to spend thousands of dollars to get a great sound. All you really need is a reliable turntable that consistently revolves at the speed needed for the size of the record (33, 45 and sometimes 78 RPM for older records) and a balanced, high-grade stylus.  The main thing? Look for turntables that you can't hear working at all.  Usually, decent turntables range in price from $200 to $800. Of course, audiophiles, can spend upwards of $10,000!
